History
On 4th September 1957, Renault created the ‘Compagnie d’Affretement et de Transport’ – Transport and Forwarding Company (CAT) – to provide shipping and logistics services for Renault entering the US market.

In 2001, GAL, an independent industry consortium, aquired CAT from Renault. GAL was subsequently acquired by VSI, Vehicle Services International AB (VSI), a 50:50 venture between Wallenius AB and Manuel Antelo in 2007. In 2009, Manuel Antelo became the sole shareholder of Groupe CAT, through his company Two Continents Logistics.
Groupe CAT has grown into an internationally recognised provider of vehicle logistics services, and continues to expand it’s operations today.
